National Gallery of Art NGAkids Art Zone
NGAkids helps children develop interpretive and analytical skills through interactive discussions of paintings and sculpture in the National Gallery of Art, educational explorations, online interactive activities, and interactive art projects.
For example, SEA-SAWS where kids can select photographs of natural and man-made objects, then arrange the pieces to create a seascape or an abstract composition. The BUILD tool helps you construct animated characters and set them in motion.
To view the Art Zone interactives you need Adobe Shockwave Player. Adobe Flash is used for animations and slideshows. QuickTime is used for movies and VR.
